APPRENTICESHIPS

​

We currently have a full quota of apprentices who are committed to between 1 - 3 years within our workshop.  Our apprenticeships are working towards the National Vocational Qualification Levels 2 - 5 and through the John Foxon Apprenticeship Scheme.

WORK EXPERIENCE

​

We are happy to accept a small number of short term work experience applications each year, usually for a duration of one week or occasional days.

 

We can only accept work experience applications when we have available space when members of staff are on holiday.

​

Work experience trainees are responsible for their own travel costs and accommodation.  No charge is made for work experience and accommodation can be arranged.

INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE STUDENTS

 

We welcome applications from International Exchange Students.

 

We make a weekly charge for training based on whether the student is an observer or requires skills training.

 

The cost per week is as follows:

 

5 days (36 hours) observation only:     £100.00 per week.

5 days (36 hours) skills training:   £200.00 per week.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TRAINING

 

We are happy to accept health professionals, podiatrists, clinicians and technicians for specific skills training days.

 

The cost per day is as follows:

 

1 day (7 hours) observation only:   £75.00 per day.

1 day (7 hours) skills training:   £150.00 per day.
