The difference your boots have made to me has been quite considerable, the boots are an excellent fit, my weight is more evenly distributed as the insoles have good contact, my posture is improved and foot pain is reduced. Within 3 weeks of having new footwear from you in December 2008 my chiropodist noticed an improvement in my feet indeed she asked me what I had been doing differently. Prior to that visit I had been seeing her every 2-6 weeks for some years for treatment to bruising and ulceration under a metatarsal head.
Before deciding to buy boots from Phillip I had worn boots supplied by my local NHS Trust. In 2007 I had surgery and the NHS supplier was changed. The first 2 new pairs were sent back as unusable by the orthotist and a third pair caused me considerable pain, hence the ulceration. I decided to risk some money, I asked Phillip to help me and he has done so. My orthotist was impressed with my new footwear and has agreed that the Cordwainer can supply my NHS boots. I am able to get about with much more ease and certainly less pain. Although I still do visit the chiropodist regularly it is now only every 10-12 weeks. My only possible regret is that I did not find the Cordwainer sooner.
