'My North West' 2006
The television cameras visited the shop during the early part of 2006 to film for the series 'My North West', a six part series looking at the characters and people who contribute to the diversity of the region.
The programme was hosted by Brookside star Dean Sullivan (Jimmy Corkhill) who asked a few questions about my work as a shoemaker. The cameras then followed me across the town to Hilton Park, home of local football team Leigh RMI (now Leigh Genesis) who I have supported for ten years.
The film ended with Dean joining my band Whiskey in the Jar for an evening of Irish music in Manchester. You can view the full video by clicking the link below.
