Philip Taylor has been making shoes since the age of eleven and has traded as The Cordwainer since 1996. He is now one of only a small number of shoemakers who specialise in bespoke orthopaedic footwear left in the UK.
He is joined by Gina Dodson, a talented shoe designer and James Taylor, Philip's son who has been training as a shoemaker for around four years.
